Bring A Little Sunshine Into Your Day With A Pineapple Smoothie

On cold winter days like this I like to put a little sunshine back into my life and what could be more like sunshine than a vibrant yellow pineapple smoothie.

Pineapples not only look like sunshine they are loaded with nutrients, are an antioxidant, and can help boost immunity and suppress inflammation, as well as ease digestion. Most of all for me though they are sublimely delicious and always remind me of tropical holidays … boy do I miss those!

Simple Pineapple Smoothie Recipe

Put one and a half cups of pineapple juice, one banana, one and a half cup of pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen), ¾ of a cup of Greek yoghurt into a blender and blitz until smooth.

Add a few fresh pineapple chunks and mint to garnish, throw in a straw for a tropical feel and enjoy!
