Pros And Cons Of Drinking Warm Water With Lemon
Drinking warm water with lemon in the morning is something that health experts have been promoting for quite a while now. It is said to have many health benefits, not only does it kick start the digestion process and help with the production of bile, but because of it’s Vitamin C content it also helps boost your immune system and gives your skin a bit of a glow.
However, as with most citrus fruits lemons contain acids that can be harmful to the enamel in your teeth. Because of this dentists have warned that drinking warm water and lemon on a regular basis can cause damage to your teeth.
Some dentists recommend drinking through a straw to limit the amount of direct content with the teeth. As with most things we’re all different and have different health issues and that goes for our oral health too, so what might work for one person may not necessarily work for someone else, so it’s always best to ask for personal advice and speak to your dentist to find out how you can limit the damaging effects of lemon juice on your teeth whilst still getting the many health benefits associated with drinking warm water and lemon.
